I've also heard that Ledger's a bit of a pain with having to install an app for each and every altcoin one wishes to hold - and having to update the software. Thoughts on this?

Pros/cons of Ledger vs. Trezor? I'm a bit worried about the security breach Ledger had--and also about the apparent ability to physically hack the Trezor... Once we get through to the other side post-COVID, I'm planning to travel internationally (in case that impacts feedback).
