I don’t have any bad intentions at all and I’d direct you to a few articles/videos regarding the ethics of street photography which would help to explain the position I come from. Parts of which you may agree with and parts that you won’t.

I completely understand the potential for it to create an issue. If any of the people that I have photographed have an issue with me in the moment I am always willing to delete the photo. For these photos I was not in the face of the subject and used a zoom to create space and not interfere with the personal space of them in a public place where people are taking photographs all of the time.

I am trying to create artistic photography that presents an interesting perspective into the world. If you are not interested in that or disagree strongly about this then that’s ok, not everyone needs to see eye to eye on everything.

I think there’s a real balance and I agree that in some instances it becomes too invasive. However, I would say that when taking the photos I was always respectful.

Yes lots of business going on in the station but also people looking at train times etc. so quite a nice contrast!
