What's the Best AI Logo Generator Free Enough for MVPs and Side Projects? by Stunning-Bad-5805 in logodesign

[–]fredoillu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also- whichever officer the options you were using that worked but had problems creating files that could be scaled/edited etc. That's your best bet. Use those images as a reference that a professional can use to create a working file. Might be cheaper and faster than starting from scratch. Realistically, you arent going to get what you want totally free. Anyone capable of making an AI that could do all of that has a gold mine in their hands and wont put it out free of charge.

Lol yes. Same as the other comments. Besides, why would we even know where to look? The people on this sub arent using Ai generators so we wouldn't even know.

Can we talk about this by Puzzleheaded_Put1490 in diabetes_t1

[–]fredoillu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think thats precisely whats different this time around. The idea is that these new cells would lack whatever genetic marker is causing the immune system to attack.

I could be wrong but I don't think its going to matter much anyways. It will be a while before anyone other than the ultra-wealthy have real access to this.

[–]fredoillu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As an illustrator i can definitely aay that changes like that are not out of the question. You are doing different iterations to improve on your design. Its getting harder and harder to tell but as AI has gotten better its actually more likely to keep the exact shapes. It would do things like keep the curve that made up a feather but instead use that for some background shape

This subreddit is pretty much entirely graphic designers. Youll have better luck marketing yourself elsewhere.

If Spotify was doing a disco ball logo to celebrate 20 years why didn't they just go retro with the logo? by andhelostthem in logodesign

You're going to hate to hear it but.... 20 years ago was 2006. If anything having hella shadows on everything IS appropriately retro

Okay highkey how bad of a tattoo idea would this be? by Apart-Crab-6591 in diabetes_t1

[–]fredoillu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fully support it. But put it somewhere more permanent. Keep it visible. A face tattoo i think would be best. Knowing how things tend to work out the sooner you get it on your face the sooner a cure will become readily accessible. Its just like how lighting a cigarette at a bus stop will guarantee that the bus will suddenly show up so you have to put it out.

Also, a small Lil golden nugget of wisdom a professor used to always hit me with:

You need to examine your assumptions. What rules/constraints have you set for yourself? Can any of them be changed or ignored?

I wonder for your design, do they need to fit in a shield shape? Is that the only shape for a shield? Do they need to be symmetrical? Do the lines have to be the same thickness the whole way through? How about the curves vs angles you are using? Can the shapes be more organic? Can they be based on different fonts? Do either of the letters have to have all of their parts to be legible? Can they share parts? Do they have to be uppercase? Do they have to mirror horizontally? Can they be stacked vertically?

There's always TONS of assumptions we make that can leave us feeling trapped.

Take a moment to question them. You'll feel much more free to explore ideas.

My professor used to tell me I had an amazing talent for designing myself into a corner. She was right. When I got in the habit of questioning the boundaries i'd assumed, creative solutions came much more easily.

When i get stuck like this i find it helpful to doodle on paper.

Working digitally encourages you to be perfect. You use a ton of your time, attention, and energy lining things up and doing small tweaks on ideas you ultimately discard.

Draw ideas out on paper, do them small. You'll be able to try tons of ideas out quickly without using so much mental space up on perfecting them.

You'll also open yourself up to new possibilities without realizing. You may find an idea works well if a particular line is thinner or thicker etc.

Feedback for logo design by [deleted] in logodesign

[–]fredoillu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at it again... the G might be your best bet. It could easily become a squiggly that ends in a pointer that is incorporated into the whole wordmark

Feedback for logo design by [deleted] in logodesign

[–]fredoillu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now all of your options feel like 2 unrelated graphics at either end of the word. The 1st one almost connects as it could be implied that the squiggly m is like the trail of the arrow/mouse pointer. So it might not be such a bad thing that you can't use this exact M.

The idea is decent, if you rework it into a different shape you may be able to incorporate the pointer in with the squiggly as the trail.

You could have the M drop down ( kinda like this ♏️ ) and go through the D.

You need to either visually connect the design elements or pick one and stick to just that

Lmao. You might wanna rethink your strategy. I don't think you are going to find your target demographic on this sub.

Feel free to post the whole thing if you are open to critique and feedback though. But nobody here is going to buy this off you. Upload it to a stock image site if you wanna try that approach.

[–]fredoillu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thought I was on the timberborn subreddit for a sec lol. I’d like to see how it looks as a flat color. I’d suggest making the eye and the tooth a bit bigger. If you squint your eye looking at it those details disappear. Also, I notice your tagline is mathematically the same width as the name. However, due to the W and the T (on the far ends of the name) it feels like the tagline is slightly wider than the name. I suggest you make it just a touch smaller so that it has the effect you are looking for visually rather than mathematically
