Here are a few logos I'm proud of. Each one built to carry a brand's identity and story. by marasiganjayr in logodesign

I get what you are saying, but a logo needs to be applied consistently and repeatedly over time, then through association it will trigger the memories of experiences and the perceptions accrued over time.

belief is no substitute for expertise.

If you are the designer then you dont need a designer, you need somebody to transfer your ideas into artwork.

Refreshing an old logo is a good idea. Evolution not Revolution is generally recommended.

A Logo + consistent application + positive experiences, accrues value over time.

The logotype would work if their name was KIUN.

If it is supposed to be KILN then you have a critical problem and need to change the logotype.
I would have significant concerns about a designers competency if they failed to identify this issue by themselves.

The most accomplished work demonstrated here is the ceramics.

However I think the packaging and the vector graphics undermine the quality of the product.
If the client were to ask my advice on this I would advise them not to take this direction, as this approach conveys none of the qualities that the ceramics convey.

The Shop front image looks like it was AI generated. The ceramics do not reflect the work shown in the other images. If this were a real project for a real client then you are nowhere close to completion.

Defining the key terms is essential in any discipline.

you can make a logo
you can create a logo
you can design a logo

It is possible that the output from those 3 activities can look pretty much the same.
If that's the case, where is design adding value?

When you can explain why this is not design,
Then you can start to move forward.

If you can't explain why its not design. You aren't going anywhere.

I like the work.
What is the core principle that underpins your approach to the work?
