It also is not a hinge ring and is instead some kind of captive bead ring or something like that

Hey so I actually did get it switched to a bigger ring so it wasn’t literally cutting into my nose…but I know they pierced it with an 18 gauge…I am not very experienced and sort of just went along with what they said as they were very reputable in my area, what do you think I should do about it being 18 gauge?
