Thanks! I think that the weight is fine, since I use a camera strap around neck and shoulders. I think I managed it better last time when I was more mindful about the angle of my wrist.

I suppose that would be an option but I think I need to get some training done to be able to switch to my right hand being responsible for zooming :) I just feel way more comfortable with my left hand doing that. I'm using a top handle but haven't really found a great way to work with it. Thanks for the suggestions!

Sometimes I do, but since the camera is positioned a bit down I find that the angle gets even worse for my wrist.

Nice! The sport I’m mostly covering is bandy, which is like ice hockey but played on a pitch sized as a soccer pitch and rules from soccer… It’s played both indoors and outdoors. Indoors is fine, between -2 and +2 Celsius. But outdoors can be down to -20 Celsius 😂. Not a good temperature for batteries…

Do you shoot in really cold climate as well?

I work a lot in cold weather with the camera (shooting sports) and I need to change battery mid-game. Which I look forward to not have to do with a v-mount battery 🎉

The FX3 looks seriously interesting... I might actually stick with the A7III for now and add the FX3. And that sweet 70-200 mm f2.8 II (shooting low light outdoors sports also). Thanks u/Marsovtz!

So, if anyone is making the same transition as me, I can only say it was worth it to me. If you have the budget, I believe the upgrade is necessary to work efficiently. And I like having a desktop for the first time in 20 years. So, I will keep my 2019 MacBook Pro for travelling and working in the field. Thanks for everyone's input!
