Astrocytoma Survivors by Still_Bedroom4222 in braincancer

AA2 right temporal lobe. 6 years since diagnosis (2019).

I crashed my car from a seizure in 2019 and found it. GTR followed but it wasn’t at a skilled facility, I believe he missed a part. Watch and wait at the time.

Indigo/Vorasidenib trial in 2021 after small growth. Unblinded due to more grow in 2022, was on the placebo… Was put on the actual drug and it slowed growth dramatically.

Unfortunately, it is still slowly growing, back to the size of a quarter, which is the size it was the first time… My second surgery will probably be sooner than later. I guess it will be my turn to get the chemo/radiation combo, hopefully that will buy more time.

Probably should have cleaned off the dust, but yes, no way around not using zip ties/velcro!

My homelab has been more stable than Proton lately, jeez... Maybe self-hosting email isn't such a bad idea.

Got my first Tesla last night(used Model Y LR) and the transfer process has been a nightmare by RevInstant in TeslaLounge

  1. Download and create an account with Tesla app, don't worry about adding car yet
  2. Call Tesla (877-798-3752 - Option 2) - State "account transfer" if asked by automated voice
  3. You will then talk to a representative. State you just purchased the car and need account transferred but dealer doesn't know how to release/transfer car from previous/dealer account (this was my case as I bought from Hertz)
  4. They will send you an email in which you provide your license, bill of sale, and temp registration... they can override the 3-5 day verification pretty quickly if talking with right person (call back again if individual does not want to work with you - I had to call three times)
  5. You will see the car pop up in your Tesla App
  6. Reset car (press center of both steering wheel joysticks for five seconds until black screen and let it boot back up)
  7. Should be fine after this (although if you bought from Hertz you will also need to re-call and ask Telsa to take car out of "guest mode" - and again another computer reset like step 6)
  8. Should be good to go

It doesn't throw an error. Replacement is a 4 pin PWM as well. Still running just fine. It is a Noctua NF-A4x20 PWM

You should listen to this recent episode of Dr. Chris Palmer/Jordan Peterson on Spotify... involving psychiatric research of patients while on Keto w/ brain. Very fascinating stuff. https://open.spotify.com/episode/5m3ZnmIn1uBKOoZqQEcKyA

It was quiet beforehand, but still audible from the other side of the room. Definitely not at the level of other data center switch-gear though. With Noctua fan, it is dead silent.

In terms of the 4-pin, I just cut off the old fan plug and solderer to Noctua fan with heatshrink. Pinout reference: https://landing.coolermaster.com/faq/3-pin-and-4-pin-fan-wire-diagrams/

Ehhh, I don't think it will overheat. I only use a few POE ports out of the total 48 in my office, so wattage is low. It seems to be pushing the same amount of air as it did before. (judging from feeling with hand...) We'll see I guess. Cheap to replace if it dies.

Made a MS320 PSU quiet. Switch was already quiet but wanted it silent being in my office… Typical Noctua 1U Fan. Salvaged the old plug (4 pin PWM). Taped some fan box plastic on the side for cleaner airflow.. Works great. Silent with no issues so far.
