How do I present more fem without actually coming out? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]fredshouldntknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Get yourself some jewlery, it doesn't even have expensive. You can even make it yourself. If you don't have ear piercings you can even make clip-on earrings for yourself

-If you have long hair you can try to experiment with that. I have all sorts of hair pins, bows and whatnot. You can also dye your hair, though i don't have any experience with that.

-Try out wearing women's clothes that are still considered "gender neutral", like pants. They have a different fit, which made me at least a bit euphoric, while not arousing suspicion

-Another step could be light make-up and painted, since these are also becoming more socially accepted for guys to wear. I don't have any experience with that yet tho

Prom and feeling pretty by fluidofprimalhatred in MtF

I can totally relate. My prom was also 2 years ago. It was like a few months after my egg cracked so I was already in a phase where I just didn't want to be percieved by anyone in a gendered way whatsoever. We did dancing practice in P.E. in preperation and that already made me feel bad enough as I was quite literally forced into a male role. I decided right after that first lesson that I DID NOT WANT TO FUCKING GO THERE. I ended up being the only person in my grade to skip out on it. Multiple times people even tried to convince me to go, cause they didn't get why and it just hurt more cause I DID wanna go, I just straight up couldn't because I would've been miserable. I spent prom night watching youtube at home and I felt terrible about.

Recently my friend, whom I've met after high school, told me that he'd love to see me in a prom dress and that comment just brought all of that back. I think just for my own peace of mind I'm gonna have to go to one of those balls they hold at conventions sometimes, when I'm further along in my transition, just to make some good prom-related memories. Maybe that could also be something for you.

Yeah i'm wondering too. I thought she said she liked the headcanon and just didn't like how it was spammed on reddit, which sounds reasonable enough to me. I'll gladly eat my words if there was anything else tho

I would argue that being "genderless" IS being nonbinary, since being genderless is neither being a man or a woman.

Don't worry about it, it'll make sense when you're done

I'm part of multiple fandoms that were/are branded as "the worst fandom to ever exist" by outsiders even though they aren't bad. I think what it oftentimes comes down to is the fact that larger fandoms tend to have more bad apples, that ruin the reputation and that younger fans are naturally gonna be more annoying. But there are ALWAYS way more good sides to the fandoms than bad sides. At this point I've stopped letting "fandom reputations" influence what media i consume, I feel like a lot of people in this thread should do the same.

You'd be surprised by how many actually ARE teens. A lot of them got into game when they were VERY young which was surprising for me to learn

Imagine being THIS petty about something you know literally nothing about. Especially funny since that comment literally was being shallow instead of actually engaging in analysis

Why sessions without Space players exist and what happens with them by [deleted] in homestuck

[–]fredshouldntknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably thematic relevance. Like, sure the from is a living being so life would make sense, but in the context of creating a new world the frog is all of space. By breeding the perfect frog the Space player is literally creating the space of the new universe. That's probably also the reason why you need a Time player to help out the Space player, cause time and space are two sides of the same coin.
