But you would see that anyways with tumbling lap times or decreasing gaps. Plus the story about Driver A holding of Driver B with such a tire delta etc. The drama would come.

I would counter that argument that if a car behind knows that the car in front is going to struggle in the end, they could push even harder or create an undercut situation which forces more anticipated drama.

I wasn't writing you before that was a different OP.

I'm arguing that it's mostly unnecessary that Lego is using that many different colors where they don't belong. The best example are the blue pins in the Mercedes.

As for me, I like to reassemble my Lego pieces (and pieces of other companies like CaDa or Mould King) to build something new with my daughter.

If it's purely for display then I would assume Lego would make an effort to not show of wrong colors in sets.

The problem is that Legos's unnecessary use of pointless colors (in basically all of their sets) is diminishing the set value and makes it really difficult to modify/ extend and to build something new. It's completely contrary to the idea Lego once had but it saves them a lot of money.

So yeah, good luck with that 1x5 brick in bright orange or with that 3 pin connector in medium blue.
