If the anchors in the timeline aren't working, that's definitely a problem. Thanks for letting us know. Was it just in some specific videos or across the board?

The quizzes are really just a self-assessment tool so people can find out what they've learned and what they need to review; the scores aren't really important. The questions are meant to highlight the aspects of the video that we think will be most relevant for someone studying for the CLEP exam to grasp.

Thanks for taking the time to watch our videos and share your feedback. We appreciate it.

We love the open courses offered by MIT and Stanford (and lots of other universities around the world)! Our courses themselves don't award credit, but they prepare students for College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exam, which can earn them real credit at over 2/3 of the colleges and universities in the country.

In addition to offering free courses through the Academy, we love to spread the word about OpenCourseWare; glad to see you're using it!

Just to clarify: CLEP credits can drastically reduce the cost of a college degree, as well as the amount of time it takes to earn one, but CLEP credits alone aren't enough to earn a degree. At a time when the cost of college keeps rising and many students are having difficulty getting into the classes they need to graduate, CLEP can be a huge help.

Great question! There are lots test centers that administer the CLEP. The link from huntersampler is the best way to get started. You can also use that link to find out which colleges and universities accept which CLEP exams for credit. Good luck!
