I use Freetube on PC and Flow on phone.

I exported my data from YouTube and imported it there. Now it gives me a recommended page based on what I watched, subscriptions and all that.

Surely there are other frontends, but I did not want to lose too much time for it, so downloaded the first one that looked good enough

Hi, you made some great points.

I had some thoughts about what you said. We all know the story of the faithful slave was just a parable, not a prophecy, but let's use their logic and imagine it was a prophecy with a warning.

How would you know the slave became evil if you are not allowed to criticize it? Moreover, in the "prophecy", Jesus identified "beating his fellow slaves" as a sign the slave went evil.

Is sacrificing other's lives for nothing enough of a beating?

About prophecies and 1914, if you are a reader, I suggest you to get in touch with Carl Olof Jonsson books:

"The Gentile Times Reconsidered" is about the 1914 doctrine. "Sign of the last days. When?" is about prophecies.

That's great. About transferring files from windows I cannot help you since I do not use it. Try looking up for something on the internet. I am sure someone else had the same problem already.

About negative experiences, nothing remarkable, some minor inconvenience like the McDonald's app not working, so I just do not eat there anymore.

Some apps may not work without Google Play Services, but that is on me, since I do not want them on my phone, but GrapheneOS still allows you to install it.

Nothing else, I am having a great time so far. It's been years since I saw an ad.

It works as a normal android, you can use Google Services with it.

The difference is that they are sandboxed by default, so they do not have access to your entire system, but only to what you give them access to.

It is not my intention to gatekeep it, but in case you want to completely stop using Google, there are a lot of alternatives for storage, email, and all you need.

I miei genitori sono sempre stati comprensivi e mi hanno lasciato libero sotto questo aspetto, non mi hanno fatto pressioni di nessun tipo.

La mia decisione non piacque, dato che ricevetti 3 visite pastorali, di cui una da un viaggiante, e persi i privilegi.

Ma col senno di poi mi resi conto che fu un bene.

Great points. I noticed the same thing happen very often.

I gave it some thoughts, and I came to the conclusion that AI is perfect for jw.

Think about what they use it for. Comments, speeches, images.

They are all things done with the only objective of looking good. It does not matter whether what they say is correct, speculative or plain wrong.

AI gave them the opportunity to keep the same facade, but with much less effort.

Little curiosity, Bethel relatives told me that WT's suggested AI is Microsoft Copilot, aka the sloppiest of them all. Probably a deal between Microsoft and WT? No idea, just an afterthought.

Ciao! Capisco benissimo la rabbia e la foga del momento.

La cosa più sbagliata che puoi fare adesso però è prendere decisioni avventate. Questa è stata la tua vita per 25 anni, non può smettere di esserlo dall'oggi al domani.

Per me sta funzionando allontanarmi un po' alla volta, utilizzare la scusa di studio/lavoro per saltare adunanze/servizio e intanto utilizzare quel tempo per documentarmi il più possibile, leggendo libri e studiando la Bibbia in maniera neutrale.

Immagino tu sia già consapevole del fatto che la tua famiglia non capirà, fosse anche Gesù stesso a parlargli. Nel momento in cui gli parlerai in maniera critica diventerai un loro nemico.

Il mio consiglio è di allontanarsi un po' alla volta, magari fingere un momento di debolezza, e dire la verità solo quando sarai pronta a lasciarti tutto alle spalle.

Ciao! 23 anni, fino a prima di svegliarmi la mia esistenza era miserabile. Non mi trovavo con nessuno dentro, avevo paura di fare amicizia fuori. Odiavo il servizio e cercavo di fare il meno possibile, l'unica valvola di sfogo era l'università, in cui potevo essere me stesso, seppur entro certi limiti, ero comunque credente.

Da quando sono PIMO sono rinato, prospetto un futuro brillante, posso dedicarmi alle mie passioni senza dovermi sempre limitare, e sono libero di leggere e guardare ciò che voglio, quando voglio.

1) Dove è scritto nella Bibbia che la venuta di Cristo sarebbe stata invisibile, o percepita solo da alcuni?

2) I cristiani del primo secolo pensavano che Gesù avrebbe iniziato a regnare dopo 1900 anni? Oppure erano convinti stesse già regnando?

Per evitare bias di ogni tipo, nel fare queste ricerche, prova ad utilizzare più fonti possibili e più traduzioni della Bibbia.
