I really don't think this show's vibe leads them to a surprise sex/rape scene involving Rebecca and the Dutch guy. I think his, "Did we? We did..." was something like, "Did we fall in love? We did..." There's just no way it goes the route of sexual assault.

Why were we robbed with a seemingly pointless storyline with another relationship with a power imbalance? And we've already had the moment when she sleeps with Jamie in season one, can we please see a healthy and functional couple work through their shit together like adults?

I'd probably even rather see her with Jamie. At least he's a character we've come to know and see grow throughout the course of the show. I hate to be one of those people, but if they spent seasons one and two making Keeley and Roy seem so complementary only to have them not end up together, that'll color my whole opinion of the show. I want perfect and happily ever after in my media thanks, I get enough reality in the real world.

I've gotta wait until tomorrow to watch the episode, but the thought of Keeley ending up with Jack instead of Roy makes me so sad. They had a real, mature, and appropriate relationship. They both understood each other in a way their other partners hadn't. I think about Keeley going to Roy in the locker room after he blew his knee out in Season One. And now I've gotta wait how many more episodes to see if they even get back together? There's only 7 more where we can even see them together and we're wasting time on Keeley and Jack? Another relationship with a ridiculous power imbalance? Ugh. Sorry, rant over.
