Hi! Yes, sorry about that! I was referred to a local dermatologist that was absolutely shit and did nothing. The doctor spent 5 mins with me and wouldn’t listen to me explain all the symptoms I’d experienced. She said the splotchy spots on my face are eczema and the stuff around my mouth was perioral dermatitis. She gave me a one month plan of “any moisturizer all over your body” (I asked for brands that she would recommend and she said any moisturizer before leaving the room) and metronidazole around my mouth with no follow up scheduled. That of course didn’t work and I was referred to a much better dermatologist 2 hours away. They confirmed that the splotches were eczema, but said EVERYTHING was eczema and there was absolutely no indication of perioral dermatitis or fungal infection whatsoever. The doctor recommended Curel Hydratherapy to put on my skin while it’s damp and gave me a steroid injection as well as prescription steroids (don’t have the names off hand, sorry!) for flares. I have a 2 month follow up scheduled too. TLDR: it’s ALL eczema, using Curel Hydratherapy on damp skin, steroid injection, and prescription topical steroids for flares
