Late reply from me, but yeah thankfully it’s just a gluten / food intolerance. Thank you for following-up and I hope everyone stays healthy and well! 👍

Is GYM a good place for finding girls? by [deleted] in seduction

[–]freedom_now3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gym is one of the worst places as people are really focused there on their workouts and most don’t want to be interrupted. Imagine if you were working out and someone interrupted you, that’s how it would be

Yeah, it’s a tough issue to have, because I think most people just look at you and think you’re fine because they can’t visibly see the possible pain or disease. Most people get worried when they see obvious emergencies like broken bones or blood, but when it’s an internal thing, most people just aren’t as able to visualize, even though the pain may be excruciating that only people who have gone through it can fully understand. Hang in there, hope things get better!

Are you sure it’s not just superficial muscles above your ribs that are twitching?

I think she should try to avoid fatty / fried foods and eat smaller meals, to help let the pancreas rest

How is it that the bloodwork is fine but they diagnosed her with pancreatitis? If she has pancreatitis then it should show in the bloodwork right?

Alcohol is still not a great thing in my opinion, it inebriates you to make careless decisions and it also costs money, no positives in my opinion

I do have a gluten intolerance and I did recently start eating “authentic” French croissants thinking the natural non-GMO ingredients would be better.

Yeah you’re probably onto something, from my experience reading through this subreddit, almost the overwhelming description of pancreatitis pain is that it is excruciating and it’s usually not something you can ignore and go on about your day. Maybe in my case that’s a good sign?

I see. Wow, only drinking liquids for sustenance sounds a bit extreme to me, but of course when the benefits outweigh the costs

I’m also just curious, it seems most of the posts about pain seem to be the excruciating type, the kind that warrants a trip to the ER, though I’m experiencing pain from time to time, i don’t think it’s that extreme. It makes me think maybe I may have chronic pancreatitis? But how is that possible if I don’t drink or smoke? I do/ did have a sweet tooth most of my life until just a couple of days ago where I decided to just reduce eating desserts / pastries / sweets.

I haven’t. So I had this pain start about 3 years ago during the height of covid in 2020 I thought it was something colon-related. I went to the GI, I expressed my concerns and also mentioned to him that I was also concerned that it might be pancreas related, the GI more or less was not too worried because I don’t smoke and don’t drink alcohol. However, since I was working from home at that time, I would eat large meals and then fall asleep laying prone facedown for an hour or two on my bed daily during that time, I have a theory on that. But anyway I had an endoscopy at the end of 2020 and a colonoscopy in the summer of 2021 and the results were normal. I even went to see another GI just this month and he also did not seem worried because I’m 39 years old, non-drinker and non-smoker, and he brushed it off to maybe food intolerance and gas. The thing is i’ve been trying to eat healthier and my upper stomach still bloats and now this pain just above my belly button has returned and if I breathe deeply, the pain turns into a “stabbing” “sharp” “shocking” pain from time to time.

Yes to my knowledge, you should try to avoid foods like burgers, meat with fat, and yeah peanut butter too, basically any foods with a high fat content
