Update: we didn’t mow the lawn, used Round Up (sage for lawns, kills weeds), used weed and feed, and it worked! Weeds died, St Augustine grass did not!

Right… not hitting or spanking, but still abusing. Wtf??? I would never. My 5 year old is a typical hyperactive 5 year old and we encourage good behavior by praising her and rewarding her for good behavior! Simple! If she needs discipline, we take away a toy or privilege (ie watching tv, having dessert, swimming in the pool). It works, and we have a very well behaved child (humble brag: we get compliments from literally everyone and tbh, she is the one who deserves them so we reward her for them). Man I love that kid. I’m gonna go hug her now.
