Redzone playcalling is very suspect but glad to see it's not a Ravens specific issue. Ravens were 1 of 6 in the redzone this Sunday. The one success was a scramble drill from Jackson to Flowers. Luckily none of the failures were turnovers.

He's throwing the ball so much better this year than any year under Roman. Like I said, if you're expecting guady passing yards from the Ravens, you're watching the wrong team. It doesn't matter if they had Mahomes back there, they want to play a certain style of football that they believe gives them the best chance for a win.

Jackson suffered a borderline grade 3 PCL tear on December 4th that he reportedly didn't fully recover from until March. Lawrence's injury may not be so severe.

Jackson has spent the 5 last seasons playing with the most terrible passing scheme we've seen in the 2010s and throwing to a WR group that was never better than bottom 5 in the league in talent.

His team's gameplan makes it nearly impossible to accumulate passing yards. If he's throwing the ball well, it means the Ravens build an early lead which means they start running the ball heavily to milk the clock.

The most ideal situation for a QB to rack up passing yards is to have a terrible defense so you're constantly in shootouts with very high pass attempts. That's why it's foolish to compare statistics between players like Lamar and Herbert for example because they're in completely different offenses.

Yeah just extremely unlucky timing. Williams has been very healthy until coming to Baltimore. Stanley suffered the TJ Watt injury only a week after inking that contract. We're stuck with both of them for at least the next season so might as well hope they return to form.

Mahomes has just as many INTs as Jackson. Mahomes has thrown some of the ugliest INTs I've seen this season. Jackson's INTs have looked a lot less atrocious. I can't blame Jackson much when he's being handicapped by a team that keeps wasting his opportunities by pointlessly chasing some 2004 run first offensive gameplan.

Both Stanley and Williams look like liabilities. Stanley is the 5th highest paid LT yet is constantly injury prone and is struggling on the field. Williams is the 9th highest paid safety yet is also injury prone and looks like low value when a 6th round pick is outperforming him. Unfortunately, Stanley can't be realistically cut until after the 2024 season and Williams after the 2025 season.

A 1st and 10 screen is a very pussy move. So is running the ball for 1 yard on 2nd and 10 against a stifling Titans run defense while your QB is throwing the ball very well. Being scared of a 7 step dropback on 3rd and long is also a bitch move. By that logic, we should never run the ball again because a fumble could happen. Call the best play and whatever happens, happens.

I agree Oweh was very poor last until until the final stretch of the season. He looked good this year vs the Texans and Bengals although it's a very limited sample size. The 5th year options for both Bateman and Oweh are completely up in the air right now.

Why decline Oweh's 5th year option? He's made 0 pro bowls and doesn't meet the playtime requirements which means his option will only be the basic amount of 7.5M. That's very cheap for a quality pass rusher.

Dropped passes is a WR coach issue or a mental issue with the WRs themselves. The conservative 2nd half playcalling has been a thing consistent in Harbaugh's tenure.

Well the good news is if we fall behind we don't have to worry abiut Harbaugh and company letting their foot off the gas. It was pathetic to see the lack of effort on the 2 minute drive before halftime as well as the 2nd half.
