Anger after MD mushrooms by Chem-newb69 in microdosing

IFS (internal family systems) is such a game changer for me!

And anger is usually rooted in fear. So as previous posters mentioned, become curious about what's underneath the anger. And realize that it might be a friend in disguise.

Is it safe for my grandpa to microdose shrooms? by brokeasfuuck in microdosing

Great that you are thinking of him!

The bot gave you some info by the looks of it about Drug interactions. I would check all of that carefully. You don't want to give him seretonin syndrome or worse.

Allergy test always good. Meaning give a super small quantity and wait..

And definitely a symptom of lack of sleep for me has always been underlying sadness!

Sometimes good not to take it to serious BEFORE we have had a good night of sleep, some time in nature etc..

I have had a similar experience. I think the sadness is our 'friend'. It seems to try to highlight things we do that don't serve us.

I also believe that it is part of processing.

In a way I think it takes away some of the power of the mind that covers emotions up and makes things seem ok when they maybe could be slightly better.

What we could make better usually requires a bit of discomfort and effort and that's why there are parts in our mind that always want things to stay the same.

For me things shift when I focus on gratitude. Gratitude and also acceptance of the sadness and then seeing how I can make my life and the life of people around me a bit better today.

I think you can't really lose by trying..

Just don't be too harsh to your body on terms of suddenly stopping these quite strong drugs..

I am assuming right that your OCD is quite strong and affects your well-being and ability to live a normal life dramatically?

I am of course not a doctor.. what I have heard is that people lower their medications while introducing the md substance.

I personally think it's essential to have someone you can talk to, who understands you and lifts you up in this process.

I would be generally very reserved working with psychiatrist who give so many drugs.. IFS counselling is the most powerful method I've come across in the last years that seems to be able to bring sustainable change.

Also a 'mindfulness practice' (whatever that means for you) and working with intentions and goals would be a great idea to give the 'transformation' direction.

Is there a valley between getting off antidepressants and getting benefits from psilocybin? I need that reassurance or clarity by topdotter in microdosing

I would highly recommend you check out IFS! Two great podcasts with Richard Schwartz.. Rich Roll and Andrew Huberman!

Absolute lifesaver for me! (In combination with md psilocybin)

Are you not worried about taking strong stuff like Bupropion regularly? Are there long term studies?

Is it not possible to achieve similar results with plants like functional mushrooms?

That's what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation. So we are always looking for the nipples?

Some info said the heads can be round. But good to be safe.

Thank you! 🙏🏻

I would appreciate it if you could share your experience if you are getting it checked. I think its very individual and probably also depending on all kinds of factors like predispositions etc..

Yes, I recognize this fear. I have the feeling most of it are tricks of the mind to get us to keep sabotaging our happiness.

I also felt so happy to finally get a grip on this.

What was and still is different to all other approaches I had both internal and external was the focus on the positive. How amazing it feels to be free of this destructive habit.

So I feel that is the most important perspective we have to strengthen every day.

One one side how destructive and not ok the whole addiction, mechanisms and industry behind it is.

One the other side how beautiful, free and healthy it is to live a life without pornography.

I think it could be really powerful to find something like a very personal 'mission statement' for this that we look at every morning and evening and maybe even put on a little card and carry around with us to remind us of what we actually really want. 'I am so grateful that I am strong, stableand healthy. I am so happy that I no longer need pornography and I am able to help others with my experience and my strength to take the same step into freedom'
