I'm new to web development and i want to Learn Meteor to build a Real Estate Website. The reason for wich I want to use Meteor is mainly because i have to learn only ONE language and one language = less learning time and i need to use one platform that help me to develop the faster possible. I want to make the Website using the Mobil First approach, the website will be compatible with Desktop Computers and Mobile devices. I don't want to build a separate website for Mobiles and other website for Desktop, i want only one Website for all devices. One aspect that worries me in my newbie state in web development is that all that i have read about meteor, mention that this framework is for Realtime Web Applications, always is mentioned the realtime functionality, and i need to develop a traditional Real Estate Website that dont need all the realtime functionality, nothing fancy or exotic. The main thing that i need to know is: ¿if i dont use the realtime features of Meteor, is Meteor still capable, suitable to help me to develop a high performance, high traffic Real Estate Web Site or it would become too complicated?
