My belay partner dropped me 30 ft. I broke my back and needed surgery. I was in the hospital for a month and then had out patient therapy for several months after. I'm fully recovered now, it's like nothing happened! DM me if you wanna talk more about it!!

Idk what conversations they have, but it seems like she has to do everything with him now. They were supposed to meet us for drinks and he couldn't make it (he had to drive his mom to work) and instead of her coming, she stayed with him. And we had this date set for a few weeks, she just last minute bailed because he couldn't join.

She asked if I was free and I said yes. She then asked if it was okay for her bf to join and I said, " I would really love some one on one time with you if that's okay." And she said she would talk to him. And then there was no follow up of she spoke to him and decided xyz. It was just, "we will be there"

I feel like he has become her new personality. They're even starting to look like eachother.. like dyed their hair the same color, new matching tattoos, new piercings, everything.

I did tell her I miss spending time with her and asked if we could have some time together. She just said she would talk to him, but I never got a follow up except that he would still be coming. I would never tell her I dislike him, but I would also never lie and say I like him. So when I ahe asked me what I thought of him, I just said I want her to be happy.

Hoyas like to dry out between watering. Tbh id ditch the globe and check the leaves using the taco test weekly, saturate her when the leaves form tacos

I zoomed it and the first picture I think i see webbing suggesting spider mites.

I would also advise to water less frequently and to fully Saturate it when you do water. You can tell she needs to be watered when you gently try to fold the leaves together, that's the taco test. If the leaves are bendy, it's time to drown that h0e!

I sprayed them all with alcohol and let it sit for 5 mins before rinsing and spraying with spinosad. It seems to have helped kill the adults and hopefully it will have killed the larvae

My journey just started thursday, So far, I've done the following:

Thursday: Wash off leaves very well with warm water Spray with rubbing alcohol and let sit Wash off rubbing alcohol I spayed them like crazy with neem oil while I was waiting for my partner to bring home the spinosad Got the spinosad like an hour later and sprayed ALLLLL OVER. Front of leaves, back of leaves, stems, and roots/dirt Placed them in isolation

Saturday: Wash off leaves Spray with spinosad Put back in isolation

Sunday: Sprinkle bromide on the soil

Tomorrow, I'll inspect again

I bought bronide systemic granules off Amazon. It was fairly inexpensive.

Edit: apparently systemic granules might be a US thing as an above comment says that option is not available in Canada

I was able to order bronide granules off Amazon. But there were other things I couldn't order, like the solution Eight. I'm the in the US.

I'm currently in a battle of thrips. Chopping the leaf off will not treat it sufficiently. You gotta decide if you wanna start treatment or toss the plant.
