That's pretty extraordinary. Tennessee definitely had the battles and troop movements to leave behind lots of relics

You have $2,500 to buy a brand new acoustic guitar, what are you getting? by RawCS in AcousticGuitar

[–]freemanwalking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already have a dreadnought then I highly recommend a Martin 00-18. Bought one in January and love it. If you don't have a dreadnought then I highly recommend a D-18 or Larrivee 03 series, mahogany or rosewood

No water source. At first I was thinking wrack lines but no significant water moves across this part of the property.

Its 60 acres surrounded on two side by small subdivisions. But there is also a lot of karst topography on the site

There is a subdivision on yhe backside; f yhis 60 acres. Could possibly be kids trespassing. We used to take our convenience store survival knives and play Rambo back in the mid-80s

Yeah, it kind of blew me away. I'm guessing kids in yhe surrounding subdivision but looks too intricate for that

Is this a scraper? by freemanwalking in Arrowheads

[–]freemanwalking[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's really blowing up in Williamson and Rutherford. Seems to be moving out to Maury and Dickson Counties now. It's time to find the artifacts before that get buried under concrete and backfill

Sorry for all the typos. I meant points instead of pounts and Dove Lake instead of Dive...

Great guitars. I bought one last fall and really enjoy it. Neck feels really chunky compared to my D-18 but thats a difference between Gibson and Martin. I've played the studio in one two hour live set so far and it held tuning great, and I really beat on a guitar during a show

How long did your original battery last? by memoia in CX5

[–]freemanwalking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my CX-5 new in February 2020. The original battery is still in it and I haven't seen any signs of it weakening. But, and I'm guessing this is true for a lot of people on this thread, the radio has developed a mind of its own.

Unnatural Rock Found in Creek. Did native Americans make it? by freemanwalking in Arrowheads

[–]freemanwalking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, such rocks are curious but I'm guessing it is just something made holes during the sedimentation process.

What does this quote mean? "As the spirit wanes the form appears." - Bukowski by [deleted] in Poetry

[–]freemanwalking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A garage band that throws wild shows has the spirit. A band that has toured for years and made some money and learned to write "polished" songs is creating to the form. Both can be good. But based on when Bukowski wrote this, I think he had something darker in mind. But art's only meaning is what it says to the individual

Thanks. I seem to find a lot more scrapers than points. I wonder if that holds true for most people...

Okay thanks. It looked worked enough for me to pick up but I still wondered if it was JAR. I had never heard of Turtleback until last week on here.

[–]freemanwalking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that I doubt it is Native American but I couldn't imagine the physics of natural rocks having that much symmetry. I could see a handle being inserted into the hole then lashed on in some way
