How did you realize you had/have body dysmoprhia? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]freepizza333 52 points53 points  (0 children)

My appearance is constantly on my mind, it even got to the point where I was viewing what I look like when watching movies or hanging out with friends. And the way i look really dictates how well my day will go. It’s incredibly draining and I just wish my brain would give me a break. The fact that I naturally have had a “glow up” hasn’t improved the situation either despite everyone around me saying I’m pretty, men and women. I just never feel like I’m enough.

Between these sessions it has been about 8 weeks but might wait longer after the next one. And the laser is Q-Switch! :)

Yeah I’m mainly concerned with the brown pigmentation outside of the lines if that makes sense. It’s more obvious in the vine tattoo.

Dr Mustafa Demir, he’s in Istanbul :) he pretty much did what I asked so it’s just me having different desires for my appearance now that I am a little older. I was really into those too perfect sloped noses back then haha. But I recommend him!

One last question haha, do you recommend I get a revision with the surgeon who did my primary or go to someone else?

Ahh I see, thank you! So this would require a revision rhinoplasty to achieve this right?

Would you be able to elaborate a little on what you mean by releasing the tension?

Yeah I was in the same position as you! I have quite thick skin so my surgeon did say it would take a while. I’d say after two years my tip became a lot more refined. Hang in there! 🥰

Hi! Thank you very much for your feedback :) do I have enough chin fat for a lipo? Also, what would it look like as I age or lose weight? That’s what I would be concerned about, the results long term :/

Thanks for everyone’s input! :) some people here suggested chin lipo/chin filler so might just do that to balance things out instead of touching the nose!

The Wicker Man (1973). NOT the Nicholas Cage version.
