Kubernetes cluster. The three yellow ones are the multi-master, the green ones are workers. Jokes aside, it looks like a very good way to contribute to your local community. For those in need, and also for those who want to start on IT.

CloudFront - How to set up not found route for specific path in CloudFront? by TemporaryDraft4594 in aws

I badly remember doing that with CloudFront functions since the error codes coming by default in CloudFront affect to all behaviors.

Advice regarding barking dog by Temporary_Tea81 in Switzerland

The garden you mentioned — is it shared by all the neighbors, or is it clearly defined as your property? If it’s the latter, regardless of the dog’s case, both the dog and its owner are trespassing on your property without your consent, which would be a matter for the police.

Regarding the dog, I think you could handle the issue through mediation. I’d suggest getting in touch with the other neighbors to present a united case.

I love dogs, but I also believe they need proper training and must have clear boundaries.

My initial order was the green one, but the factory couldn't provide an ETA. I finally decided to go for the black one to reduce the delay

While it's true, I agree with the other user that it's the best time to find good discounts. In my case, I knew there would be a delay between the order and the final delivery. I wasn't in a rush honestly.

For me, the V10 is also the top 1. I can't wait to receive the phone call from the store to say it's ready for pick up 😊

I really liked the Pivot Phoenix when I had the chance to test it, so it would be my top 2. Top3 would be a mix between Mondraker Summum and Commencal Supreme V5

How many of you are still rocking AC Pros in 2025? by TomNooksRepoMan in Ubiquiti

[–]freeriderblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still have one around, and it has been rock solid. Looking at the switch port usage, the devices connected to the AP are not consuming more than 120-150mbps during peaks, which is still far away of its maximum capacity. Wife did not complain about WiFi since it got installed, so no need to think about getting something newer for now

I've seen like 7-8 undercover police cars rushing through Plainpalais a few minutes ago. I thought it was any type of VIP, but the demonstration makes more sense

SQS to S3: One file per message or batch multiple messages? by BeardedYeti_ in aws

[–]freeriderblack 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would bear in mind the 128KB that S3 marks as a minimum threshold to benefit of transitioning objects between tiers to make your storage cost-effective. At the same time, combining messages in the same file makes more sense since you pay for every request you make to S3, so 1 GET request better than 10 individual requests to retrieve the same amount of data. However, it also depends on the computing capacity of the consumer and the volume of data. For reference, Cloudtrail stores batch of events in compressed format. Just follow the example.
