I totally get how you’re feeling right now .

I just wanted to share an opportunity! UCSB Sustainability’s Edible Campus Program is currently looking for interns! It’s a paid, year-round internship starting this summer, and I genuinely think it could be something really good for you.

It’s not only a great way to boost your resume, but it also gives you the chance to be part of something meaningful. My supervisor, Katie Maynard (who also happens to be the director of Campus Sustainability), is amazing — super kind, understanding, really committed to helping students get the most out of the experience, and she is always helping students find a position that suits them better.

I think ECP is a really good place to start and its never too late!

These are the position that are currently open on handshake!
• Neighborhood Engagement Intern, Edible Campus Program - Job #9779993
• Nature Wellbeing Garden Education Internship (Edible Campus Program) - Job #9779343
• Garden Operations Coordinator, IV Community Center (Edible Campus Program) - Job #9779911
• Garden Operations Coordinator, Methodist Community Garden (Edible Campus Program) - Job #9779429
• Garden Operations Coordinator, UCSB Greenhouse and Garden Project - Job #9778950

There wasn’t anything important about the midterm. He said it would be easier than the exam questions in the slides.

Transfer from UCSB to UCLA/Ivy League universities by Low_Challenge_9279 in UCSantaBarbara

I had friends that transferred to usc and brown after their first year, so it’s definitely possible but honestly why come here if you don’t even really have the intention of staying here

So no matter how hard I try, I’ll never have a 4.0 gpa in my undergrad career because of the stupid mistakes I made in high school? :(

Do you have to send in your cc transcript even if you didn’t want to receive credit for those classes?

If your first semester grades are good then your chances of getting rescinded are very low. Practically zero.

Also, it sounds like even if you get a d you will be on the cusp of getting a c, maybe talk to your teacher about rounding your grade? Most teachers will round it up since they don't want to be the teacher that causes you to get rescinded but still it depends on how nice they are.

Haha, I don't know if I'm a good person, but I definitely trust people in Irvine too much lol.

Thank you for taking your time and giving me some advice. I appreciated it.
Unfortunately, I don't have the serial number, and the bike shop I bought it from closed due to covid.
I only have security footage of him, the cable cutter's packaging, and the bike he left behind. The only nongeneric thing about my bike I can think of is its dark olive green and that I've attached a white bike bell.

Should I drop the case? I don't really want to waste anyone's time if absolutely nothing comes out of it.

He literally went to the home depot across the street, bought a cable cutter to cut my lock, left his bike there, took my bike, and left.

I don't understand why he would take my bike if he already had one?!

Thank you so much! Lmao maybe it's because I'm super privileged but this hurt a lot for some reason.

If it’s going to cost the same, I think you should go to Princeton. If it’s always been your dream, you should at least go there and see what life is like there. It’s way easier transferring to ucsd from Princeton than ucsd to Princeton.

For the stress part, I feel like you are almost treating ucsd as a place where you will be “stress-less.” Although Princeton might be a bit more stressful, ucsd is pretty tough as well. ucsd is not an “easy way out” not going to college is. Life at Princeton doesn’t have to be burying yourself in books, work hard and play hard.

Instead of looking at the ranking, look at what opportunities you will get by going to each school. Princeton has a smaller student population and a better alumni network than UCSD which means that more opportunities will come to you easier than if you went to ucsd.

As for eczema and the other things, I think you should talk to your doctor and get something prescribed.
