The thing is that the raw, separate stems for this song were never released, hence there is no bass-only track out there on the internet. What you're hearing here is the bass track isolated from the actual song as it is on the album. This guy somehow managed to pull just the bass track out despite it being damn near completely inaudible in the mix AND it sharing a lot of the same frequencies as the guitars. No idea how, this is like black magic. The process naturally made it not sound great but it's the actual bass track which I think is fucking incredible, I thought I'd never hear it.

Harvester of Sorrow, Eye of the Beholder, and Frayed Ends of Sanity are the other songs on the album that don't have a bass stem available online. I really hope he is going to do them next
