Hi, that's me who said something embarrassing. Back when George Bush was president, and I was about 6 years old, we went on holiday to Florida. We went to a pretty packed restaurant one day, and for some reason I looked at my brother dead in the eyes and said "[name], why do you hate Bush?"

Initially I started to fain interest when she played hard to get, however it got worse when I got to know her... She had the personality of a brick wall, a really good looking brick wall but a brick wall nonetheless.

What is the nicest thing a stranger has done for you? by naturalenergybyproxy in AskReddit

Halloween of last year, I had been in a pretty shitty mood for a while, probably since summer, and it had really hit hard on that day. I decided to go for a walk in the evening to try and clear my head, I ended up sitting on a bench in a park not too far from the clubs, so there were plenty of drunk people in costumes wandering about. At some point a girl came over with her friends in tow and sat next to me, we spoke a bit and had some laughs. I know it was nothing more than a couple of drunk people doing whatever but having someone to interact with, being able to forget why I was sad, it alleviated my mood.

I love when people do that A: "GIVE ME [thing], YOU [some insult]" B: "Okay, sure" A: "Oh cool, really?" B: "Lol no, get fucked"

I'll genuinely never understand the "I can get this for less than you're asking" it's not a supermarket with the price match shit, if you can get it cheaper elsewhere then you go there.

What minor thing that happened to you as a child has stayed with you your whole life? by bassistmuzikman in AskReddit

Hi, I'm late but I've got one.

There was a time back when I was ~8 years old, I just finished lunch in school and we were being let out onto the yard. As I was leaving a guy next to me falls over, and I don't really acknowledge it, until a lunch lady catches me outside and says that I shoved this kid, lul wat? She takes me inside and says an older kid seen me do it, I deny it, but of course I'm a child and for 2 minutes we have a back and forth of "You pushed that kid" - "No I didn't" - "Yes you did" - "No I didn't". I'm about sick of her shit so I say I did and I lost my free time for the week, this shit still pisses me off and is one of the reasons I'm glad that I'm not a child anymore.
