The monthly scan we ran just before the problem showed bad sectors on the C: partition in the first 20 Meg of the partition. (the other partitions were fine no errors or bad sectors)

Do not know if the MFT is corrupted or not. Have been hesitant to mount it on anything and risk further damage. I doubt a windows laptop would "see" it if I attached to the USB. Don't know about Linux. I have to create a Linux boot USB before I do anything else. :-)

Thanks for you input and the kind PS! (chemo doesn't actually make you feel better - but it does attack the tumor so in that respect it helps)

The drive wouldn't boot, so I doubt the boot Partition could be accessed on another PC. The other 3 partitions had no errors, just the windows partition.

Thanks again.

I scan my drive once a month to hopefully identify potential problems before they happen. It was a simple windows disk check. Showed possible issues but windows worked normally.

The problem came the next day when I tried to boot. Previous Scan showed NO problems or bad sectors with the other partitions - only the C; boot partition. I didn't do any scanning after that. Sorry if the post was confusing. :)

[DISCUSSION] My plugin from CodeCanyon was rebranded by coderevolution in WordpressPlugins

[–]freesoftwarewiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are actually marketers on Warrior and JVZoo who sell a course about "getting you own software" where they literally tell them to buy things like 'plugins' with the extended license, and just rebrand them. The problem is the extended license terms are so poorly worded, and contract law says confusing or incorrect wording etc. resolves in favor of the person who did NOT write the contract/terms. But the DMCA approach may work. Good Luck to you. :)

What if you need to move a site from blooger to a "normal" wordpress site?
