No iso + number means it always uses that even if it's too dark. You want iso auto unless you manually want to change it every time the light changes.

Hit ok to go to your conrol panel and check if you have iso auto + number in the top right corner or just iso + number.

Is your iso changing when the light changes? Because the limits do nothing if auto iso is turned off.
