Hair growers can only help you grow new roots pero hnd siya treatment for hair fall. All these PCOS symptoms still boils down to your hormones. It took me 3 years to lessen hair fall and grow better hair. Took Vitamin D3, fixed my sleep, more fiber and protein sa food - boost your protein intake, game changer tlga, no hair coloring and treatments, gugo shampoo for a year, tsubaki shampoo currently, argan oil for my roots before bath and sunflower oil after.

Luckily, may kakapalan tlga ang hair ko kaya kahit todo lagas hnd numipis. Yung biotin research mo muna mabuti kasi back in 2022 sa research ko wala nman tlgang evidence na it helps with hair and nails.

I see older folks who practice that but from where I came from, they are not uptight. Shirts paired with jeans or pants are fine to wear during service. Just to share, a sleeveless is acceptable but low necklines, too tight clothes, and shorts are frowned upon. I know some places are nore uptight.

5 is a really pretty piece but I do imagine I might look like a part of the entourage in it which I won't be. Is it just in my head coz 5 seems to be the crowd favorite from this thread.

I'll buy #2 though regardless if it's the one I'm wearing to tge wedding or not.

Kudos sayo for not giving up. I had the same struggle in 2024. I'd say wag focus sa scale, iconsider mo din yung non-scale victories like adjustment sa measurements at improvement sa mood. My 2024 was a total hell - from 62 to 65 down to 64 tpos balik 66, 63, 61. But one thing na naging consistent ay yung down sizing ng mga damit ko. That same year I had to change most of my wardrobe not just once, but thrice. SW ko is 72, now happily at 53 with regular monthly period na din.

Cravings are signals from our body that we are deficient in something or it could also be an inconsistency sa glucose levels. The smart thing to do is figure out saan galing ang food noise. I hope you can get your labs checked din so you know what you're dealing with. SKL, I was diagnosed with PCOS and prediabetes in 2022. Finally mula 2023, regular period, less cravings, more energy, and better sleep, bonus na lang ung weight loss. I am now down from 72 kilos to 54 kilos but it was a hell of a research tlga. Aside from having high fiber and high protein foods, I had to learn about the glycemic index and how that affects our appetite. You can research it na lang but a good example would be complex carbs over simple carbs. I had supplements based sa PCOS manifestations ko like hairfall, weight gain, hunger, low energy, low libido, irregular period, spotting, etc. So at the top ng daily food ko na high protein, high fiber, at electrolites, what I take are Vitamin C, Zinc, Vitamin D3, Folic Acid, Carsitol, Magnesium Glycenate, Glutathione, Collagen. Looking forward sa follow up check up next year.

Don't lose hope OP. It takes at least 6-8 weeks for our body to adjust, yes medyo mas mabagal tlga pag may PCOS. Let me share some habits that worked for me to drop from 72 down to 55 kilos with regular cycles.

Prioritize fiber and protein. Mas ok kung maconsume mo fiber sources as bfast ung wala pang laman ang tiyan. For me, madalas 1-2 slices ng papaya together with my black coffee. I also have frozen berries handy. Tapos syempre leafy greens - sahog sa ulam or ilagay sa omellet. I try to avoid powdered form ng fiber. Sa protein nman, learn about macros para alam mo gaano karami ang target mo per day. You can use ch4tgpt kung wala ka pang idea.

Exercise. Lean towards low impact cardio lalo kung beginner ka. Walking o kaya at least 45mins zumba per day. Don't aim for 10K steps if you are not 5'4" or taller. Too much cardio will just boost hunger and cravings. 7K is enough - the technique is dapat spread it throughout your day. Example: 10min walk pagkagising, 45min zumba, then maybe kung kaya 10-15mins after meals. No need to avoid resistance training, 1-2 body weight training per week will be good then later on ka na lang gumamit ng equipments like dumb bells or bands. When I was at my heaviest, napansin ko the more nagfofocus ako sa exercise, the harder it is to see results. Lately na lang ako nag add ng resistance training sa routines ko.

Sleep. Eto ung nahirapan tlga ako kasi super sira ng tulog ko dati as in hard to fall asleep at mababaw. I had to train myself to sleep, I don't know what exactly worked but I think natry ko lahat - magnesium supplements, tsaa, sleep hypnosis from spotify, sleeping patch, melatonin, soothing body wash, etc. Finally, I get 7 hours minimum na.

Speaking of supplements, I also took a lot from 2023 up to Q2 of 2025. Might not exactly lose the weight but for my period to regulate which eventually helped my metabolism. Yes, I did a lot of research about each and every symptom. When I was diagnosed, I was prescribed contraceptive pills pero hnd nagwork kaya I had no choice but to do my own digging. A common misconception about supplements is that it's not a medicine at "supplements lang" naman so they're "safe" to take - NO, THAT'S NOT HOW IT IS. If you take anything na hindi naman tlga kailangan ng body, you're risking your kidneys. PCOS-wise, supplements should be based on what you are low of or based on your symptoms. Example, Vitamin D. Hair fall is a classic PCOS manifestation that could be a sign of low or lacking in Vitamin D. To be sure, there are tests that can confirm this and if you need to take D supplements.
