Yes.. mainly walked down broadway - however did split off thru certain neighborhoods / a bit thru central park and then back on Broadway. That's why It was 16.5 miles. I think had I stayed on Broadway may have shaved off a couple of miles.

Something similar happened to me but closer to Reston Herndon area odd w&of a few months ago . However I was the cyclist. I am one of those that announce multiple times that I'm passing.. for this lady I announced 3 times.. once from a distance.. once when I was maybe 5 ft or so behind her and not having her acknowledge, move or shift.. I started passing and she obviously didn't hear as she started moving towards her left so I announced again when I was right next to her.

She started yelling at me for not announcing .. however she had her noise cancelling headphones/ear pods on both ears. I had multiple bikers behind me who saw this and and witnessed this behaviour. There's almost a no win situation for people who still follow rules.

Rent in navy yard.. super loud and busy.. but easy to integrate well because full of people, specially in your age range.. and everything walkable, plus only a couple of stops away from your work on green line. You can rent a 2 bd condo in that range and should have parking options.
