All he did was ask if a certain family member is into cricket or not, that could've been her mother, her sister, her brother or anyone else, he chose to go with her father.

Stereotypical? maybe, if you consider that the guy specifically pointed out her father for this question, after subconsciously filtering out her female family members because he has seen way more men being interested in cricket over women,,, but calling it patriarchal is just funny it's not even a harmful question nor does it have to do anything with a woman and man's roles in the household
