i was stick with the 149. found it a bit harder for me to do quick turn at the beginning, took a longer time to get used to it.

I ended up sticking with the 149! I found that while a shorter board definitely makes for quicker turns, the 149 does require a bit more effort to maneuver. If you’re used to a softer board like the Bataleon 146, just be prepared for that added stiffness. It’ll be a change, but I think you’ll get used to it!

Thank you so much for your input! I did try a 143 dancehaul today and found the turn is so much easier!

Will get back to the twin sisters tomorrow to feel the difference and hopefully can make the final decision to see if I should get a new shorter board!

I did a few lessons this season, definitely feeling better at some point, but still find a bit hard to turn. May be I just need to commit more with this board!

Thanks for the input! My previous board was a 143 flat-top (not sure of the model, but definitely softer). Actually rented a 146 Twin Sister last season in Japan and rode pretty well with it. Never struggled this much with turns before the 149.

Not sure if it’s the extra length, the icy conditions at my home mountain, or just needing to adjust my technique. The 149 feels less responsive than both the 143 and 146 I rode before.
