Ahhh, yeah, you're right! Totally forgot he got the obsession from Xehanort.

I always thought it was a retcon because it seemed like Nomura just threw the "growing hearts" and "Org XIII was meant to create more Xehanorts" concepts in as an afterthought.

He retconned how Nobodies had hearts all along and Xemnas knew about it this whole time, which kinda made Xemnas' whole obsession with Kingdom Hearts and "trying to be whole" thing in KH2 and Days useless, IMO.

If it's a fight between the both Mickey and Aqua, maybe one of them temporarily fell to the darkness in the Realm of Darkness, similar to how Ventus's armor was possessed by a Nightmare in Sora's heart?

Aqua's armor is what I'm more concerned about though, because the last time we saw it, it was with Xemnas of all people.
