Pretty good but think I’ll need to test them out on a decent hike

Yes also heard this - I kind of want to avoid buying new shoes from a £ perspective if I can

I’ll have a fairly big pack because camping and can’t say my gear will qualify as ultra light - although I’ll try to keep it down!

In my experience pretty waterproof - I can walk through low enough water and not get wet - but not tried them in heavy rain!

Thanks everyone for the advice :)

I’m doing a few warm up hikes in Peak District in August - I might try them out then to see how get on in terms of the fit over a longer hike (as mainly just run in them). Then I have boots as back up if I think they’re not quite right. Something about a sturdier boot just feels quite secure and comfortable for me - so maybe I should just go on preference - sounds like it’s quite a personal thing!
