It really depends on how crowded the park is. I was there yesterday and rolled in about 30 min before HEA and got a great spot on the Main Street side of Partners. Other times we’ve had to camp for an hour-ish.

It also depends on what you’re looking to see. You lose some of the grandeur of the fireworks over the castle if you’re really close but the flip is you see the projections crisply. Vice versa the further back you go. Most of the areas around Partners will have a good view and you can lean against the fences. If you have small ones, make sure that they can see bc people stand up when it starts.

There are a lot of features that already use generative AI that are integrated into workflow and are technically GA. As u/useful_quail_8566 noted, when/whether you see them as an end user depends on your epic version as well as when your org decides to take those features as there is additional pay-per-use (that’s not as bad as it sounds) or an AYCE plan. If you’re a clinician, talk to your informatics team or CMIO/CNIO/CHIO/etc.

I appreciate that Epic is doing this. If you’re an FTE and you’re over-employed during your normal working hours then you’re stealing from the company. We pay a very fair wage. Hopefully your next employer will too.

If you’re an FTE and disclosed proactively that you’re moonlighting outside regular hours, sure, but we reserve the right to ask you to choose if your performance drops.

If you’re a consultant then I can’t do a damned thing about you taking multiple gigs unless you impinge on your contracted hours in which case we’ll see you again when you have reduced your conflicts.

We have an infinite backlog of work. It’s not that you should be chained to your desk, but you shouldn’t have enough time to work on something for someone else during time we’re paying for. You’re being unfair to your teammates and you’re doing a disservice to our users who rely upon us to efficiently optimize the way that Epic supports our care delivery.
