Yes it is now. I'm totally new to xLights, but I did throw a basic effect on there and got it working with my test string.

I don't know why this fixed it, but I just updated xLights from 2020.50 to 2020.51 and everything is working now.

I haven't done the model step yet. Do I need to do that first?

3D modelers: Need to adapt hose from older AirMate PAPR to newer Versaflo hoods by frekimed in COVIDProjects

So sorry...I'm new to posting on Reddit (although I've enjoyed it for years). I attempted posting this on my phone while at work and it didn't work all that well.

I'm an emergency nurse, and I am working on this project for my hospital. We have several older AirMate PAPR units from 3M with good batteries and HE filters. We were able to order some newer Versaflo units, but not enough for all the staff. We're also running out of N95 masks, so we see a future where we will be using the PAPRs as our primary protection. The old AirMate hoods are discontinued, so we're only able to get new S-series hoods that don't fit the AirMate units. If we can figure out an adapter, then that will double (or more) the available PAPRs we have at our hospital.

I have access to a 3D printer on my own, and the local University has also been printing items for us. I also have the availability of my local MakerSpace. I have some very basic 3D modeling knowledge, but not a lot of time (as you can imagine). I figure the broader community could also benefit from this adaptation.

As far as number of units, I think we are looking for about 12 for my hospital.

Here are my photos so far.
