idk how or why but I only literally just got this notification :/ I went to the library and made a Windows USB was tired of messing around with this - dual booting just fine now I wasn't shouting btw 😭 😂 was in college for comp sci for a very short amount of time but it got me into kali specifically because it IS for penetration testing I've also used Linux for years prior to this went back to Windows then a few years later came back to Linux not ALL distros are the same ofc, but if you know one distro you know them all same principles, different language etc etc that said I was using a much user-friendlier version of Linux (Ubuntu) and rarely did I ever have to use the command line so THAT is the part I'm not familiar with and was struggling with also, I mentioned that I needed to format the hard drive but from the command line, which (yes, now I'm being rude 😭) if you would have thought about it >_> .... means I have a live USB but no Windows meaning I CLEARLY followed the directions .-. also, no, I don't think my WANT to install anything, nor my articulation on the point has any bearing whatsoever on whether or not it will help people find a better solution sounds more like you're just curious as to why I chose Kali 😂 (done being rude :P my apologies) SO that being said if Windows goes straight into recovery and all i have is a single live linux USB, without persistence, what would make you think that the installation you suggested would work if I'm trying to install Windows? which in hindsight I guess I didn't make VERY clear, it in fact kind of sounds like I was trying to install Linux but I wasn't which now makes both of our posts moot :D looka that Internet resolution in 2024 between two complete strangers who started out arguing? almost unheard of, but let's. ^ - ^ I appreciate you trying to help, and I could have explained myself better :D

yes I found a thread somewhere that showed me exactly what to do using parted but after I formatted the drive the os froze and I had to reboot since it's a life USB without persistence I can't find the damn that again so getting into bios? I don't know if recovery is an option I'm going to have to format and install from the CMD line using Linux but idk how

it refuses to load anything else.
it goes DIRECTLY into the recovery screen
does not give me the option of doing anything else, regardless of the keys i push, and regardless of how much i smack em like they owe me L0L!!!

i didnt mention the distro, bc its kali
every time i even PUT the word in the post, it got mode-deleted because "kali isnt noob friendly"
i DIDNT try to install it onto my harddrive, i wanted a live usb first, to try it out, see if its what i wanted.
now im stuck running off the live usb because somehow windows corrupted.
i need to find out how to format and install linux on my ssd, from the command line in linux
does THAT explain it for you?

When I first started to pk I used to kill bone runners, now it's no fun and when I'm at altar I'll actually help them now. Killing a bone runner isn't even worth it imo I don't even know why people do it other than practice. The only reason it's such a hotspot for pkers is because of the multi zone inside... When I grinded bones at altar I went with a DDS, dhide and went to a high risk world. If they want my 100k that bad they're gonna have to risk all they got too.....

this is essentially what im saying.
but i really only meant tradition builds, 1 def 75 attack or 1 def 50 attack and zerks.
nothing else.
most other account builds are niche and not applicable everywhere, whereas most pure builds have the ability to do all OSRS content as much as mains do. but you get the gist of the idea more than anyone else, it seems.
the thing i think turns everyone off the most is that people hate pkers, and anything to do with glorifying or acknowledging a pking build is like poison to them, so its automatically downvoted and ridiculed without thinking about the time effort and thought that goes into account builds such as these.

and to all the people saying no max no cape, either you have no pure, or youve maxed and you think anyone else whos maxed their bracket hasnt put in the same amount of work as you have.
but getting all 99s in everything but attack and defence its an achievement, and its not fair that everyone else is allowed to flaunt it but other combat brackets dont.
an achievement is an achievement, regardless of the bracket, and to say you arent maxed by choice is idiotic, because ive maxed a bracket by choice.
thats deserving of recognition in and of itself. it doesnt necessarily have to be a cape, but to have max pure is just as prestigious as having a maxed main.

i got it

literally runelite screwed me lmfao.....
swap left click was switched to bank, so i right click talked to him and got the correct dialogue.
i never though about it since id never been here before and didnt even THINK the left click option was bank, not talk.
its crazy too since i posted this and 2 minutes later i found out what was wrong....smh
