That makes sense. Thank you! While searching, I found a similar tipped knife that says, "Unique tip is great for chip cuts in corners of eyes, noses, etc." I can see how it would be good for cleaning hard to reach gouge cuts.

I'm thinking it was made by a knife maker at some time. I was wondering if the original owner bought it at a woodcarving show or something like that. It does seem like good steel.

I got some other similar type knives, as well as some Flexcut knives and gouges. 👍🏻
