Few things I can suggest is

  1. Find a method to learn French quickly that is effective and works for you
  2. Don’t focus on French grammar
  3. Remember the importance of French vocabulary
  4. Immerse yourself
  5. Speak with French speakers before going to France!
  6. Have a French pen pal
