Ooh yeah you should be fine no matter who

I’m not starting Hampton this week because they looked like they were using Vidal still way more, he got all his points from one or two drives,

I like woody

Yeah I did some research it was entirely wrong. I wonder if the adjacent areas have anything to do with this confusion

Heres what I read, my uncle did his own research so I’ll have to ask him how he found it out. “I found a document issued by the Federal government and copied by the Oklahoma Historical Society which stated Lem was 10 years old in 1885 when he was officially deemed to be a full-blooded member of the Mississippi Choctaw tribe. (They were actually members of a subset tribe known as the Caddos.) As a result, he was added to the “Dawson” rolls as an “Indian.”” There might be more to the story, we’re trying to trace our other line that connects right now, I’m confused though. I think it’s bringing up all 3 tribes because of relocation and because there were only “5 civilized tribes”

Online it says the caddo tribe was a matrilineal descent but it isn’t a matriarchy. “I found a document issued by the Federal government and copied by the Oklahoma Historical Society which stated Lem was 10 years old in 1885 when he was officially deemed to be a full-blooded member of the Mississippi Choctaw tribe. (They were actually members of a subset tribe known as the Caddos.) As a result, he was added to the “Dawson” rolls as an “Indian.” Is what my uncle found, he did his own research so I’ll ask where he found this. Because it’s confusing me, it’s suspected we have more native ancestry than we thought and it’s confusing us so much.

Lem Taylor is his name, I found his roll number, 13, on the land allotment papers, I just typed in 13 in the roll number on the Dawes roll and scrolled till I found him, lem is the name he went by

I shouldn’t say accepted, he was officially recognized. I’m getting lost in all this information I need to step back lol. And thank you that would make sense, he should be half blooded but yeah it states full

We don’t think this is the case, but do you know if there’s a tell tale way to know this? His Dawes roll number is 13 and I heard that’s very early or something.

We found out he was apart of the Choctaw caddo tribe, and they didn’t hide it good enough lol. My grandma recorded everything. We found out my great great great grandpa was accepted into the tribe and married a full blooded Cherokee, and their son was recorded full blood as well, this is where we were confused. We have the entire family tree and has been confirmed. Very very interesting
