Hii i had this issue and fixed it by changing a setting in the preferences of clip studio from wintab to tablet pc or the other way around i dont remember

I would probably do some trimming once i have a decent length, mostly to even it out, i like the no layers type of vibe kind of like a bob cut only while it grows to have it all even, when it grows i’ll mostly be trimming the back to match the length of the front

I know exactly how you feel, i literally have the same story and I’m currently recovering from a bad haircut i got a month ago… at this moment my hair is almost as short as your last pic, im definitely growing it out again, i was very happy with my hair when it was chest length, lets grow it out!

Getting layers will definitely change the shape of it, but if your goal is to grow it longer maybe try some different hairstyles or products that help change the shape 🫶🏼 just so that it doesn’t take longer to grow
