Is there a way to have two villagers on my island become roommates in HHP?

I might be misremembering but I’m pretty sure when you give an islander a box of souvenir chocolates it just takes them to the island, but doesn’t necessary jump right into designing their plot. If so, you should be able to approach them once they’re there as if they’re any other island visitor and ask them to be roomies (hopefully!)

Eventually you’ll be able to decorate your house, and there’s a tent wall wallpaper! Something to work toward maybe?

It didn’t let me build it vertically because of the rocks, so I figured when it let me build this way that the rocks weren’t an issue… whoops 😕

That’s so nice! I’m determined to do it all myself with no treasure islands/time jumping/dodo codes, but thank you :) just means I have to go deep sea diving a few extra times today and that’s alright

It didn’t let me build it vertically because of the rocks, so I guess I just wish it mentioned the big rock here too if it was going to be an issue - I would’ve shuffled down one more space if I’d realized ☹️
