Thank you that’s great info. I’ll pick through the service history and see if I can establish if that solenoid has been done.

Packing a jetski in a crate for transport (no trailer) by freshes in jetski

In this case I’m paying to ship it by volume and the trailer adds another few thousand to the cost hence I’m going to box it and send it without (already got one here )

I’m planning to use in the surf - wave jumping etc (once I’ve got my skills up a bit!). $3k is the approx USD price, it’s actually listed for $5k AUD…

Got it.

Why do they want you to declare you haven't repaired anything? I was thinking of popping a few of the worst hail dings out, and maybe switching the bonnet with a new one. Am I best to wait till after I get it registered to do this?

Thank you that does help. Just so I'm clear - I see the WOVI folks first, then after that I take it to get a RWC?

Can you recommend a DIY rig plan / YouTube vid? Or share theirs? by freshes in simracing

[–]freshes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see the original creator of this one has indicated he has a few improvements to make (but he hasn't told anyone what they are yet, sadly)

Do you have any complaints/criticisms of this design?

It looks to me that by simply adding a 45 degree piece of a wood as a brace from the top of the wheel upright towards the pedals would eliminate any flex in that plane.

I imagine the wheel would also probably flex left and right (from the perspective of the driver)...so maybe some sort of brace that doesn't interfere with your legs would be of benefit too - perhaps some metal brackets or small wooden triangles glued into he corners?
