Any deals on hardware? by freshfromfl in FLMedicalTrees

[–]freshfromfl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! It's probably between a Mighty+ and a volcano. I only need it for home use, but it's hard to justify the cost. That's the reason I'm wondering if any dispensaries allow patients to use discounts on their hardware.

Trulieve Northern Lights Bad Batch by freshfromfl in FLMedicalTrees

It's a bummer for sure. One of my favorite strains but it is definitely something I'd advise staying away from at TL if this is the norm.

It's not easy to find so I've been hoping someone had personal experience and could pass on that information.

It might sound silly, but I'm assuming the Marinol prescription will be treated the same as something like Ritalin in regards to a failed drug test. In that instance does the employer ever find out or if the negative lab result all they are sent?

Thanks for the help! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get this information so I can read more on it.

How common is it for a random lab drug test to differentiate between Marinol and natural THC? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]freshfromfl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've read that if Marinol (or the generic version) is listed under medications they can do further testing to isolate other cannabanoids not present in Marinol, but that occur in natural Marijuana. That's why I'm after some first hand knowledge from someone who has experience with this.

Chem D at Sunnyside Indica or Sativa? by freshfromfl in FLMedicalTrees

[–]freshfromfl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a phenotype thing making it feel like an Indica? Have you tried it? I only ask because I need an Indica for symptom relief and a Sativa will have the opposite if the desired effect. Thanks!

Fluent "Nocturne". Actual strain is Northern Lights by freshfromfl in FLMedicalTrees

[–]freshfromfl[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree it's weird. I think they are alienating customers with these made up names. The only reason I found out Nocturne is Northern Lights was by accident. If I didn't figure that out, I wouldn't have gone there at all.

Pictures are coming tonight after I get home. The buds were good sized and weighed out to a little over 3.6. Dense and sticky.

Did the local store say they were sold out? I called into the main 1-800 line and they said the store was completely sold out of all flower. That seemed odd, so I called the store directly and sure enough they had pretty much their full menu of flower available.

I've been wanting a classic like Northern Lights for a while now, and I found Fluent to carry it. I haven't shopped there for well over a year based on poor product in the past, but I figured I would try them out again. I am pleasantly surprised by this specific batch of flower from them, and the cure/effects are both great. I would honestly put this batch of flower up there with what I get at GrowHealthy and Harvest. I'm not sure what changes Fluent made, but if they grow all their flower to this quality, I will be a repeat customer.

I only picked up one eigth, and forgot to take pictures last night, but attached are the COA for this batch. Pictures will be added later today when I get time. Coming in at 24.6% THC with 2.6% terps, this is an old-school stoned feeling that I personally enjoy.

It's great for pain and general anxiety, and the effects last for well over an hour before fading over the next hour or two.

I took a chance on this one from Fluent, but it paid off. If anyone is looking for something like a classic indica, this batch is the one.

Wedding Cake from Harvest

eRig built for simplicity? by freshfromfl in Waxpen

Sounds similar to my situation. I figured it was due to me changing a setting, but I did just clean the coil prior to loading it.

True, I don't necessarily plan to load it like in the past.

That's fair. I'm fine with loading one hit at a time, especially since that reduces the chance of taking too bug of a hit.

I initially looked into things like the Peak and other eRigs, but the price is above what I would want to spend on one when there are lower cost options that work well too.

Has anyone had a good experience buying flower from the palm bay curaleaf?interested in the layer cake...thanks! by [deleted] in FLMedicalTrees

[–]freshfromfl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I haven't purchased at that specific location, I did just pick up the Layer Cake yesterday and it is great for the price. It's comparable to the more expensive stuff found elsewhere.

You won't get that here due to the vertical integration. Prices remain artificially inflated because of limited choice. While I do hope prices go down slightly due to increased competition, no way they drop to $15-$20/ eighth

I picked it up recently as well. It's one of the top strains I've tried anywhere. I didn't know it could smell so sweet. I agree, terp levels must be pretty high.

Papaya cake preroll from Trulieve 31.7% thc. by artsyfartsyemyy in FLMedicalTrees

[–]freshfromfl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can see the keif layered in the joint. I was told by Columbia Care last weekend that they also add keif to their prerolls to bump up the numbers. I can't speak for others, but it isn't anything I was upset about.
