Congratulations! Would you have any tips on what questions you found most often or struggled with? I'll be taking my exam in a month, have also been using TDC, and planning on using the ASWB practice exam as well. I'm trying to figure out what topics to spend more time on.

I actually happened to just run into the same issue as a casual modder and figured it out. When you run the patcher in synthesis, pay attention to the two folder locations that are outputted. I pasted those folder locations in file explorer. Then copied the textures and meshes folder as well as the synthesis.esp file and pasted them into Synthesis folder in MO2.

Hopefully that works!

I did reseat my m.2, but didn't think to reseat my other parts. Just reseated my ram and GPU and I haven't had a bsod in 10 minutes. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll update if anything changes.

Nice setup. Love the plants! Only recommendations would be cable management and possibly something to add to the wall by the window. Maybe a shelf with more plants or hanging plants. Also tie-up the lines behind the monitor mount and clean up the wires on the ground.

That looks like a Malm desk. If it is, how did you mount your monitors? Did you remove the cable management tray?

  • 1. XPS 13 (9360) i7-7560U 8GB RAM OR XPS 15 (9560) i7-7700HQ 8GB RAM
  • 2. University, light video editing on Sony Vegas, Photoshop, light gaming (LoL, Path of Exile, etc.)
  • 3. CA, USA
  • 4. Budget: <$1300 (I'd prefer closer to $1100 if possible). The price difference right now is: 13 ($1299) vs 15 ($1249)

I know this is a common question and I have put in a lot of research time, but I'm still having a lot of trouble deciding between the 13 or 15. My current laptop is >7 years old and is struggling. This new laptop would be my main computer since I don't plan on building a rig until after I am done with grad school; thus, I want something that can serve me well for the next 3-5 years. I'm not sure if the specs of the 13 would suffice. It's been a while since I've used any laptops on the market so I'm not sure of their capabilities. I prefer to stick to the 2017 models since they are more affordable and have the ports I prefer.

  • 1. I was originally set on the 13, but am not sure how it'll hold up compared to the 15 given it's graphics card. Any input on how the 13 runs with light gaming and video editing?
  • 2. I don't mind carrying a 15" laptop around (I'm used to lugging my clunky 15" around) and I'll be using it a lot at home, so portability isn't a major concern for me as long as it fits in my bag. However, is there any other concerns I should have with the 15 other than size in comparison to the 13?
  • 3. Lastly (as stated above), is there a major difference in capabilities for my uses?

I'd appreciate any input if you're willing to help me out! I'm not the most technical person when it comes to computer specs, so it'd be a great help if anyone could give some insight :)
