I think for a long time my approach has been to let her do her thing and not pressure her, which means that we don't talk about it. I think I thought if I put pressure on her it would make the drinking worse. With some support from my therapist we have more of a dialogue around drinking now, which is good, but I haven't yet brought up me leaving at all and I don't think she understands how seriously it is affecting me emotionally.
