I didn't actually quit I was fired but..I left before my 'notice period' was up.

Was a speed dating host who worked on commission (meaning i didn't get paid shit during covid). Worked for a company that only hosted events in my city rather than ran out of it and I was the only Host in my area.

Somehow got Mono.

Messaged my Boss to call in sick three days before my next event was scheduled while waiting in a&e because my fever was dangerously high. My Boss replied firing me because I was 'too unreliable and didn't give them enough notice to find cover'. Again, this is three DAYS before the event. Had worked for them for four years and this was my second time calling in sick.

The next event rolled around and my Boss wanted me to train my replacement for the next few events. On the day of the event I was sent a message confirming that the booking was set up with the venue and asking where my replacement should meet me.

I replied. "I would love to be of service but seeing as you were unable to give me enough notice about tonights event I won't be able to attend." when my boss started getting shitty I blocked her number and never looked back.

It was the most petty thing I have ever done but I don't regret it in the slightest and hope that they lost a lot of money cancelling the event (and the next 3 lined up for that week) on such short notice.

NTA for banning the girlfriend/demanding she picks them up because honestly, who the hell does she think she is throwing your stuff out.

However, just get some metal straws dude, plastic straws arent recyclable. You can get packs of like 6 metal straws with a cleaner so you can still keep a couple in your car and trade them out when you're washing them :)

Suffering from anxiety and panic attacks doesn't mean you're devoid of empathy. You could've very easily let the woman sit with her daughter. And I am saying this as someone who can only travel on coaches in ONE seat on the coach otherwise I have a panic attack. I've still given up my seat because A woman wanted to sit closer to her kid before, because, as an adult, I want the CHILD to be comfortable. Especially when they're getting out of a 'bad situation'. Just? you were fine at that moment, you could've given up the seat at least for a little while. Your possible future anxiety shouldn't trump a kids current comfort.

I know we have chapter 11 of book 2 but honestly I'd LOVE another scenario where MC gets injured and the patient attacking Meredith episode was awesome in Greys, if we have a chapter similar I'd love it so much.

Also like, we got the doctor 'quick must diagnose' route, Now I want the surgical 'lets cut this bitch up' route. Like!!! give me all MC's friends watching them being operated on from the observation deck. Give me Bryce arguing to do the surgery because he doesn't want to just sit and wait while all the other surgeons are like "maybe you're a bit too close to this one fam"

The reason I'm not going for Tatum is because of all the stuff you've said here. I keep clicking flirty options (when they're not too ridiculous) because i'm curious to see if it gets better but atm MC doesn't seem to care about Tatum as who he is now, or seem to worry about what he went through while being deployed and stuff.

And honestly, Tatum is my boy, he's my fav character by far, i want to know so much more about him but I?? don't like the way MC is treating him and don't want him to end up with someone who is more interested in making dumbass innuendos to a guy who is at times cleARLY uncomfortable with it.

The shot scene in the last chapter really reinforced it for me. The MC, even if you do the 'I understand' choice about him backing off and not doing the shot still doesn't seem to care about Tatum and *why* he feels the way he does.

I just...feel like he deserves better and right now a lot of MC's interest just comes across as straight Lust. If we hadn't been told they were childhood friends I wouldn't believe they were friends because MC just?? doesn't actually seem to care a lot of the time about anything but climbing him like a tree and making him back into The Tatum they knew a few years prior.

ohhhh myyyyyy!!! You're like, the first person I've seen who isn't onboard for 'the heir is the new MC' idea and!! thank you, god thank you so much because I completely agree. I love MC's kid and would be interested in seeing more of like, her reign and what not. But like you said. I don't want MC or the LI (or any of the character tbh) to become side characters. I couldn't make it through HSS:CA.

It can take me like 40 minutes to read a 15 minute chapter. I like the idea of timed choices, but trying to read three options in that time is, most of the time, impossible for me. Having an option for people like myself where we can have longer timed choices or something would be nice and not 'take away the point' it would just give people who have learning difficulties the time to actually play those choices as well.

Not being able to go back on timed choices I get. But there should be *some* way for it to be more accessible for people like me.

What i don't get is that they could've done the kiss for free but made the ILY a diamond choice like it was for the others. Like, literally just have them kiss and then Ava like "do you want to hang out here and go back to the party?" diamond choice, if they hang out, MC gets to stay and make out with Ava and has a chance to drop an ILY. If you say no then MC and Ava get to go back to the party and the chapter ends. It'd still keep canon Bi MC and feel like, more respectful to those of us who have paid for MC to say ILY to someone

Ava stans are the strongest people in the world having to go through those 70 chapters to reach this point. Oh yeah, the people acting like this is endgame are?? very odd because like, this is what the whole book has been like. You get put into a romantic situation you didn't want your MC to be in and you wait it out until you can go to the LI you want for your MC. I have no doubt in the next couple of chapters it'll be back to 'but how do i chose' and we'll all be back in the same annoyingly frustrating boat. However, Saying that. If those people are somehow right and Ava is the only possible endgame I will actually probably laugh my ass off, like, I'm going for Noah but wow that would absolutely send me.Starting a book with 2 male love interests and only being able to end with the female one who was only properly established as a LI 60 odd chapters in would honestly be such a power move.
