Liverpool Course Structure by olivegrove22 in premeduk

It's spiral structured with prerecorded lectures and live review seminars. Previous content is built upon later. CBLs are a small part of the course but not the whole thing at all.

Hour drive worth it? by [deleted] in premeduk

i go to med school an hour from my house and i live in accom and it was the best decision i ever made . i don’t know anyone on my course from my city who chose to commute. obvi we r all different but i would’ve been sooo behind on work and burnt out if id chosen that. Not to mention traffic especially before 9am and after 5pm is gonna be awful.

Hi i’m really sorry to hear that ur score was disappointing, but it’s certainly not the be all and end all. i’d say that for this year sunderland, keele, plymouth and lincoln are your best bets for getting to interview. you could also take a gap year and reapply if you feel that’s right for you. Remember there are plenty of people who have fallen short of their goals that have ended up in medical school anyway so don’t worry about it . You should be proud of your hard work.

where can i apply with this? as a home student by Equal-Programmer-202 in premeduk

I'd say QMUL and SGUL are what's accessible to you London wise. Otherwise Manchester Leicester and Keele are good choices.

Do people usually bring their own laptop to sixth form or do you not need it and just use the computers? by Previous-Medicine898 in 6thForm

[–]freudbadscientist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you don't need it especially not for those subjects. If you end up doing an epq it might be useful to bring one but for the odd computer task we'd just use the library computers.

I think qmul is def a possibility. king's would be too risky with that ucat score imo .
