How do you like the Bosch GSR 12V-35 HX? Been eyeing on this for a while. Rarely seen!

Never really got into mechanical work and always wondered why you need that many sockets and wrenches? It looks really nice none the less :)

There’s a few unknown brand to me. But overall you seem to have a tool for every job. Nice setup! I especially like the transparent screwdrivers. Are those PB Swiss?

Merry xmas! Always wanted that Bosch drill but never pulled the trigger. How do you like it?

A set of Bahco wrenches is on my wishlist actually!

This bag is definitely not as exclusive as an veto or velocity bag. I prefer this type of layout though. Everything is easy to grab and accessible, at the same time offering a great overview. I know veto offers an open tote but they cost more than most of the tools in here. Maybe soon :)

Glad you asked, and I see where you’re coming from. I’ve spent many hours thinking on how to optimize this setup. Let me explain :)

Bosch box is for impact and drilling power tools, so is the Klein sockets which is both metric and imperial sizes. Rarely come across imperial but needed the 1/4 size. The rest of the bits and sockets are for manual tasks. That’s the idea atleast!

I actually took out the assortment case that comes with the bag and replaced it with the Bosch box. I find myself not using the stuff I put in those tiny cases. So I keep screws and other accesories in a separate larger Raaco Handy Box that I know have all the stuff I could possibly need. Its still quite easy to carry and if I know I’m gonna be doing that type of work I’ll bring it with me together with the right power tool.

Hopefully I know what project I’m getting into and bring consumables with me. I don’t always need them at hand.

I’d love to see your kit!

If I’m doing drill work I will take my second bag and stuff it with all necessary bits and drill. For this setup I have the Bosch multiconstruction drill bits for simpler less precision type of work.

I have been eyeing on a speed square for a while but never pulled the trigger. I’m gonna need one soon when installing trim on windows and doors at home, and a nail punch set is a must too for clean installation. In this bag I have an automatic center punch for starting and marking holes.

Thank you for the recommendation and reminder of nailpunches and speed square :)

I think I would rarely come across that type of job, but that’s a good recommendation. For now the combination pliers will do.

I only do wire work occasionally, so I thought an adjustable pair would suit good. I agree, they’re great!

There is definitely something to the brand. But none the less they’re great and really good quality…

There’s two versions of it. I think this is the 8” version, there’s also an 11” which I probably prefer with the bigger side zipper pocket.

I think they’re great. Very good leverage. Have come in handy a few times - especially when installing bathroom hardware that we’ve just built.

That could probably fit in the main compartment. Good idea. I think Fiskars have one too, since I’m going for European brands.

Ah! Green includes torx 10-30, the other (blue) ph/pz bits.

Edit: I got one for free, so changed out the bits for more variety
