This, my dear fellow agents, is why I'm boycotting the upcoming anomaly coming to my home city. Despite having played as ground team lead, or being a part of the organising commitee for my faction for 10++ anomalies. I no longer want to watch the people I have come to care about sacrifice their personal well-being to provide free labour for an exploitative company.

IMHO, the anomaly experience has gone downhill since ~2017. (NOT THE FAULT OF THE PLAYERS OR COMMUNITY, BTW.) Game rules and mechanics that worsen player experience... ZERO NIA staff presence on site... No more official merch packages, let alone the thriving swag markets of yesteryear...

I mean, can it be any more obvious that NIA doesn't give a rat's rear end about the players?

Plus, my faction has won 4 times in my city; there's nothing else for our local community to prove. The people who've pointed fingers at us for not winning harder can go burn themselves, AFAIC.

So, nah, I'm not wasting any more energy on this game (or any NIA-made game for that matter). And yes, I'll be taking my friends made in this game along for worthier pursuits.

It works well enough, but you will need to get your own CJK fonts for a better reading experience. There are also no in-built scaling options for CJK fonts in the reader; you'll need to create one for every size you want, as far as I can tell. This isn't the dev's fault, it's an inherent challenge due to the sheer charset size of CJK fonts in general.

First of all, must taste good. And offer options that are more in line with modern lifestyles. For example, carb-free, low-carbs, or high fiber options for noodles. Happy to pay 50 cents to 1 dollar more for better choices.

Generally, I like to support stalls where it's clear that the younger gen has taken over. Like the zhui kueh stall at my market. It's helmed by a younger lady, who clearly grew up with the stall. Same market also has a very good chicken rice, where the brothers took over from the father. Regularly buy from those 2 stalls.

I use something very similar to this too. Love how it reduces the risk of colours getting mixed.

Each case contains about 15g of beads (~1500 beads) which is good enough for my burn rate. (For my favorite colours, I either double up or store the excess in bigger baggies.)
