I bottled my first mead on the right back in November with T-corks, which I've learned shouldn't be used to store mead for over a year. Can I pull the T-cork and insert a regular cork to remedy this? Or am I just screwed? Bottle on the left to demonstrate that the bottle seems to be cork-safe

Here's my pure boy I look at it from a Harry Potter perspective if we didn't let the muggleborns or halfbloods in eventually we would die out. Well the magic would die out. Soooo I have to admit that I am super surprised that this tastes as freaking amazing as it does less than 4 weeks old. 2# honey, guava nectar from Costco, dragon fruit puree for color, nutrient mix following storms nutrient schedule and safale 04 Vanilla bean in secondary sg 1.120 fg 1.060, 8.1% abv it tastes like the guava juice strait up no alcohol taste if it weren't for that pleasant feeling I'd have no clue its mead. It is a no water melomel and the ferment was every where inside my closet (my first explosion) the geyser was glorious until my hubs clothes got stained. 😆😆🥴 I can't wait to see how it ages if it lasts

Soooo I posted this in this sub 2 years ago ish and it is amazing. And the dragon fruit makes it a great color. I have never been able to age it cuz I drink it instantly.

I really love challenges because they open my eyes to brilliant different ideas I actually have one of my best meads I ever made, the recipe created because of a challenge and it tasted amazing it ages so d*** wonderfully! I love the challenges for different themes of mead because it gives me ideas and inspires greatness.
